Panacur is a broad spectrum wormer, for the control of all major benzimidazole susceptible species of roundworms affecting cattle and sheep. Effective against the adult and immature stages of roundworms and lungworms. Also kills roundworm eggs and is usually effective against Moniezia spp. of tapeworm. Panacur is usually effective against inhibited larvae of Ostertagia spp. in cattle. Panacur is also effective against benzimidazole susceptible large and small strongyles, Ascarids, Oxyuris and Strongyloides ssp. in horses. Dosage to be given orally. No dietary control is required before and after treatment. SHEEP: 5mg Fenbendazole/kg bodyweight (0.5ml per 10kg bodyweight). CATTLE & HORSES: 7.5mg Fenbendazole/kg bodyweight (1ml per 13kg bodyweight). Treatment should be repeated when reinfestation occurs. Not for use in horses and other equines intended for human consumption. WITHDRAWAL PERIODS: Animals must not be slaughtered for human consumption during treatment. Cattle may be slaughtered for human consumption only after 12 days from last treatment. Sheep may be slaughtered for human consumption only after 19 days from last treatment. Milk for human consumption must not be taken during treatment. Milk for human consumption may be taken from cows only after 5 days from last treatment.
